Labor Rules Page

Labor rules is the central place to manage labor compliance settings. Each section defines how time and pay are calculated.

Use this page to create, review, and update labor rules by location so scheduling, time tracking, and payroll calculations remain consistent and compliant.

From this page, users can configure:


Labor Rules Page

  1. Open the Admin application

  2. Select the Workforce section.

  3. Navigate to Admin > Workforce > Labor Rules.

Search

Navigate to pages with the R365 global search bar:

  1. Enter all or part of the page name in the R365 global search bar.

  2. Select the page from the results list.

Only enabled pages can be searched for. If the desired page is not enabled, contact your CSM for assistance.



Labor Rules Record/Screen Buttons and Fields

View preference toggle

A three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right of the page toolbar lets each user switch between the consolidated grid and the classic tabbed view. The preference is stored per user and persists across browser sessions.

Create

The Create dropdown appears on the grid toolbar and lists all rule types you have permission to create. Selecting a rule type opens the creation form inline alongside the grid.

Views

Saved table filters and column settings. The highlighted view is currently displayed. Click on a view to display the table with the saved filter and columns settings.

Search

Filters labor rules in the table based on search input.

Table options

Provides controls to filter results, manage columns, export data, and refresh the table.

Filter - Opens the Filter menu, where filters based on column values can be applied. When filters are applied, the number of conditions is displayed next to the button. 

Columns - Opens the Columns menu, where table columns can be hidden, shown, and rearranged. The number of hidden columns is displayed next to the button.

Export - Exports the table to a .csv file.

Refresh Data - Refreshes the table without changing the view.

Labor Rule Columns

Displays the list of existing columns for the associated labor rule.

Create Rule

The Create dropdown appears and lists all rule types. Selecting a rule type opens the labor rule creation form.

Grid Columns

Column

Description

Name

The name of the labor rule.

Locations

The locations where the rule is assigned. Supports a location-based contains filter.

Type

The rule type, displayed as a chip (for example, Overtime, Break, Pay Period). Filterable by rule type.

Created On

The date the rule was created.

Created By

The user who created the rule.

Modified On

The date the rule was last updated.

Modified By

The user who last updated the rule.
