Labor Matrix Page

The Labor Matrix page displays all labor matrix records for locations that have Smart Labor enabled. Each record defines labor thresholds that support labor forecasting for a single location. Learn more about the R365 labor matrix.

New Labor Matrix Experience
This article covers the new labor matrix experience. If the new labor matrix is not enabled, see the Legacy Labor Matrix Overview article.

From this page, users can:

Open labor matrix records for single locations to:
- View labor matrix settings for the associated location
- View current, past, and future versions
- Create new versions
- Update future versions:
  - Change effective date of the version
  - Change the labor type of location jobs
  - Configure fixed labor amounts
  - Configure variable labor thresholds
  - Configure variable labor minimums

Security

Users must have the following permission to access the Labor Matrix page:

Sales & Cash → Forecasts → Labor Matrix Setup → View/Edit (Single Location Setup)

These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.

Navigation

Navigation Menu

Select Admin from the left navigation rail.
Expand the Workforce category.
Select Labor Matrix.

Search

Navigate to pages with the R365 global search bar:

Enter all or part of the page name in the R365 global search bar.
Select the page from the results list.

Only enabled pages can be searched for. If the desired page is not enabled, contact your CSM for assistance.

Labor Matrix Page Buttons and Fields

	Button/Field	Description
1	Table Controls	Search - Filters the table for the entered text in the following columns: Location Group Created by Modified by Filter - Opens the Filter menu, where filters based on column values can be applied. When filters are applied, the number of conditions is displayed next to the button. Columns - Opens the Columns menu, where table columns can be hidden, shown, and rearranged. The number of hidden columns is displayed next to the button. Menu - Contains the following additional table actions: Refresh Data - Refreshes the table without changing the view. Row Height - Switches table row spacing between tall, medium, or short. Changes made to the table using this selector apply only while the page is open. To make this setting permanent across all tables, update it in User Preferences. Striped Rows - Enables or disables alternating row colors. Changes made to the table using this toggle apply only while the page is open. To make this setting permanent across all tables, update it in User Preferences. Column Filtering - Turns column filtering on or off. When enabled, filters can be applied directly in the column headers. Changes made to the table using this toggle apply only while the page is open. To make this setting permanent across all tables, update it in User Preferences.

Search - Filters the table for the entered text in the following columns:

Created by
Modified by

Filter - Opens the Filter menu, where filters based on column values can be applied. When filters are applied, the number of conditions is displayed next to the button.

Labor Matrix Record

Labor matrix for a single location. Click to open the associated single location labor matrix record.

Locations Tab Columns

Column	Description
Location	Location associated with the labor matrix. Each location with Smart Labor enabled on the Goals tab of its location record will be listed.
Created On	Date the labor matrix was created.
Created By	User who created the labor matrix.
Modified On	Date the labor matrix was last modified.
Modified By	User who last modified the labor matrix.
