Labor Rules Update 2026

Prev Next

We're updating the Labor Rules page. All rule types now appear in one grid that you can search, filter by type, and create from. If you prefer the classic tabbed layout, you can switch back to it at any time from the three-dot menu (⋮) on the page toolbar. Each user's choice is saved. Certifications and Accrual Rules also move to their own pages.

This change affects administrators who manage labor rules, certifications, or accrual rules. Your existing rule configurations carry over automatically, so you don't need to take any action.

Differences between the new and legacy experiences

Labor Rules Page

New experience:

Go to Admin → Workforce → Labor Rules. All rule types appear in one grid. Use Create on the toolbar to add a rule, and use the search box and table options to filter, manage columns, export, or refresh. To change the layout, select the three-dot menu (⋮) and switch views.

Legacy experience:

The page is in the same location, but rule types appear as tabs above the grid. You can still use this layout by switching views from the three-dot menu.

Rule Configuration Screens

New experience:

Rule configuration screens are accessed from Admin → Workforce → Labor Rules → [rule type]. Settings are grouped by function, with location assignment as a single field at the top of the screen.

Legacy experience:

Settings were less clearly grouped. Location assignment was a multi-field, multi-button section at the bottom of the screen.

Certifications

New experience:

Certifications is a dedicated page at Admin → Workforce → Certifications. It is no longer part of the Labor Rules page.

Legacy experience:

Certifications was a tab on the Labor Rules page at Admin → Workforce → Labor Rules → Certifications tab.

Accrual Rules

New experience:

Accrual Rules is a dedicated page at Admin → Workforce → Accrual Rules. It is no longer part of the Labor Rules page.

Legacy experience:

Accrual Rules was a tab on the Labor Rules page at Admin → Workforce → Labor Rules → Accrual Rules tab.
