The Reporting Time Pay Rule defines how employees are paid when they report to work but work fewer hours than scheduled or expected. These rules help ensure compliance with labor regulations by setting minimum pay requirements based on hours worked, scheduled hours, pay rates, and age restrictions.

From this page, users can:
Create a new reporting time pay rule
Define the locations where the rule applies
Configure required paid hours and pay rate calculations
Apply age-based restrictions to the rule
Security
Users must have the following permission to access View Reporting Time Pay Rule:
Labor → Labor Rules → Reporting Time Pay Rules → View Reporting Time Pay Rules
These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.

2 | Cancel | Closes the page without saving changes. |
3 | Create | Saves the rule and applies the selected settings. |
4 | Close | Exits the page without completing rule creation. |
5 | Section Navigation | Indicates the currently displayed section. Click to navigate to the desired section. |
6 | Name | Stores the name that identifies the reporting time pay rule. |
7 | Locations | Specifies the locations where the reporting time pay rule applies. |
8 | Minimum hours | Enables the option to define a minimum number of hours paid when an employee reports to work. |
9 | Minimum hours | When minimum hours are enabled, this sets the minimum number of hours paid for reporting to work regardless of schedule. |
10 | Percentage of scheduled hours | Enables the option to pay a percentage of scheduled hours when an employee reports to work. |
11 | Percentage | When percentage of scheduled hours are enabled, this defines the percentage of scheduled hours used to calculate reporting pay. |
12 | Maximum hours | Limits the number of hours used when calculating percentage-based reporting pay. |
13 | When more than one applies | Determines how reporting pay is calculated when more than one required hours option is selected. |
