Job Settings Page

The Job Settings page lists all parent job groupings in the system. A parent job is a group of location jobs.

Security

Accessing the Job Settings page requires the following permission:

These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.

Search

Navigate to pages with the R365 global search bar:

Only enabled pages can be searched for. If the desired page is not enabled, contact your CSM for assistance.

All inline changes on the Job Settings page save automatically. No explicit save action is required.

Table Controls

Search - Filters the table for the entered text.
Filter - Opens the Filter menu, where filters based on column values can be applied. When filters are applied, the number of conditions is displayed next to the button.
Columns - Opens the Columns menu, where table columns can be hidden, shown, and rearranged. The number of hidden columns is displayed next to the button.
Menu - Contains the following additional table actions:
- Export - Exports the table to a .csv file.
- Refresh Data - Refreshes the table without changing the view.
- Row Height - Switches table row spacing between tall, medium, or short. Changes made to the table using this selector apply only while the page is open. To make this setting permanent across all tables, update it in User Preferences.
- Striped Rows - Enables or disables alternating row colors. Changes made to the table using this toggle apply only while the page is open. To make this setting permanent across all tables, update it in User Preferences.
- Column Filtering - Turns column filtering on or off. When enabled, filters can be applied directly in the column headers. Changes made to the table using this toggle apply only while the page is open. To make this setting permanent across all tables, update it in User Preferences.

1	New Parent Job	Button	Adds a new row to the parent jobs table with an inline name field. Entering a name creates the parent job. After the first parent job is created, the option to add another parent job becomes available inline.
2	Assigned Jobs dropdown	Dropdown	Opens a multi-select list from the Assigned Jobs column. Individual jobs are removed by deselecting their checkboxes. Jobs cannot be added to a parent job from this dropdown.
3	X	Button	Removes all jobs from the parent job in one action. The parent job remains in the list with no assigned jobs after the button is clicked. Changes save automatically.
4	Delete	Button	Deletes the parent job from the system. The Delete button displays as a trash can icon and is available only when no jobs are assigned to the parent job. To delete a parent job that has assigned jobs, first remove all assignments using the X button or the Assigned Jobs dropdown. The Delete button becomes available after all assignments are removed.
