Location jobs can be assigned to a parent job from two places: a job record on the Jobs page, or a group labor matrix on the Labor Matrix page. The group labor matrix also supports bulk assignment for multiple jobs at once.
Parent jobs group jobs from multiple locations under a shared label. Each parent job allows only one job per location.
Location jobs can be removed from a parent job on the Jobs Settings page or the associated job record.
This feature is in beta for select customers. Contact your CSM for more information.
Security
Users must have the following permissions to assign location jobs to parent jobs:
Labor → Jobs → Edit Jobs
These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.
