Remove Parent Job Assignments

Prev Next

Parent job assignments can be removed from two locations: the Parent Job section on the Job Settings page, or the General tab of the job record. Removing an assigned location job unlinks that job from the parent job. The parent job is not deleted.

Two methods are available from the Job Settings page: clearing all assigned jobs from a parent job at once, or removing individual jobs. Jobs cannot be assigned to a parent job from the Job Settings page.

Security

Removing location jobs from a parent job requires the following permission:

  • Labor → Jobs → Edit Jobs

These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.
