A parent job can be deleted from the Parent Jobs section of the Job Settings page after all assigned jobs have been removed. The delete option does not appear while jobs are still assigned.

Security
Deleting a parent job requires the following permission:
Labor → Jobs → Edit Jobs
These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.
Delete a Parent Job
Navigate to Job Settings page.
Admin → Workforce → Job Settings
In the Parent Jobs section, locate the parent job to delete.
Remove all jobs assigned to the parent job. (Changes save automatically)
To remove all assigned jobs at once, click the X button in the Assigned Jobs column.
To remove individual jobs, open the Assigned Jobs drop-down and deselect the checkboxes for each job.

After all assigned jobs are removed, click the Delete icon (trashcan) in the parent job row.
The parent job is removed.This action is not reversable.
FAQ
Why doesn't the Delete option appear for a parent job?
The Delete icon only becomes available in the Parent Jobs section after every job assigned to that parent job has been removed. While any job remains linked, the trashcan icon stays hidden rather than showing as disabled. Remove all assigned jobs first, either by clicking the X button in the Assigned Jobs column or by deselecting jobs individually. See Remove Parent Job Assignments for detailed steps.
Does removing all assigned jobs also delete the parent job?
No. Removing assigned jobs only unlinks those jobs from the parent job; the parent job record itself stays in the Parent Jobs list. Deleting the parent job is a separate, final step performed with the Delete icon after all assignments are cleared. See Remove Parent Job Assignments for how unassigning works.
Can a deleted parent job be restored, or its settings recovered?
No. Deleting a parent job is permanent, and the system does not offer an undo or restore option once the trashcan icon is clicked. Administrators who need the grouping back must create a new parent job and manually reassign the location-level jobs to it. See Create a Parent Job.
What happens to labor matrix configurations tied to a parent job after it's deleted?
Parent jobs are used to group location-level jobs for group labor matrix forecasting, so deleting a parent job removes that grouping from any labor matrix that referenced it. Review the affected group labor matrix afterward to confirm jobs and forecasting settings are still configured as expected. See Parent Jobs Overview.
