The Prep Sheets page is part of Prep Management and serves as the central hub for managing prep operations. Restaurant managers use this page to review available prep items, create prep sheets, and prepare for daily prep.

The page includes two tabs:

  • The Prep Sheets tab lists all past and current prep sheets.

  • The Available to Prep tab lists all prep items available for prep at the selected location.

Prep sheets generate suggested quantities for prep items based on on-hand counts and estimated usage. Once printed, prep sheets serve as a guide for how much of each item to prepare each day.

Security

The following permissions are related to the Prep Sheets page:

  • Food

    • Advanced Prep

      • Prep Sheets

        • View Prep Sheets

        • Edit Prep Sheets

        • Create Prep Sheets

        • Delete Prep Sheets

      • Prep Items

        • View Prep Items

        • Edit Prep Items

          Users with View and not Edit can open and view the prep item record, but cannot make any changes. The Edit permission enables users to make changes to the prep item record.

      • Prep Settings

        Prep Settings View permissions enable users to access the gear button on the Prep Sheets page, which opens the Prep Settings. Their View and Edit permissions determine what they can see once the settings are open.

          • View Prep Categories

          • Edit Prep Categories

        • Prep Stations

          • View Prep Stations

          • Edit Prep Stations

These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.

Navigation

Navigation Steps

  1. Open the Inventory application.

  2. Expand Prep.

  3. Select Prep Sheets.

Search

Navigate to pages with the R365 global search bar:

  1. Enter all or part of the page name in the R365 global search bar.

  2. Select the page from the results list.

Only enabled pages can be searched for. If the desired page is not enabled, contact your CSM for assistance.


Prep Sheets Tab

The Prep Sheets tab lists all in-progress and past prep sheets.

From this tab:

Available to Prep Tab

The Available to Prep tab lists all prep items that the selected location has access to prep. With the correct permissions, an item’s prep item record can be opened from this page. Read more about the Available to Prep tab.

Prep Settings

Users with access to the Prep Settings can access them from this page using the gear button. Read more about Prep Settings.
