Group labor matrixes are created on the Labor Matrix page. A group labor matrix applies a shared labor matrix configuration to one or more locations.
Creating the group establishes its name, locations, and effective date. Additional configuration is required before the group governs any labor calculations.
Adding a location to a group means that location adopts the group's labor matrix configuration instead of its individual single-location labor matrix. Removing a location from a group reverts it to its single-location labor matrix configuration.

Security
Creating and managing group labor matrixes requires the following permission:
Sales and Cash → Forecasts → Labor Matrix Setup → View/Edit Multi-Location Setup
These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.
Create a Group Labor Matrix
Navigate to the Labor Matrix Page.
Admin → Workforce → Labor Matrix
Select the Groups tab.
Click Add Group. The Group Labor Matrix screen opens.
In the Name field, enter a name for the group.
In the Locations field, click the dropdown, then check the checkbox for each location to include.
Locations in the dropdown are organized by legal entity. At least one location is required. All selected locations must share the same fiscal week start day. Locations with a different fiscal calendar cannot be combined in the same group.
If a selected location is currently assigned to a different group, it is removed from that group on the new group's effective date. The previous group receives a new version dated the same as the new group's effective date, with that location excluded.
Click the Effective Date calendar picker, then select the date on which the group takes effect.
The effective date must be a future date and must fall on the first day of the fiscal week for the selected locations. Dates that do not meet both conditions are not available in the picker.
Click Save. The group is created with the name, locations, and effective date entered.
Configure parent jobs, labor type assignments, fixed labor amounts, and variable labor thresholds as desired.
