Time Clock Settings Screen

The Time Clock Settings screens is where time clock configurations can be created and where all existing configurations are shown.

Prerequisities

Before accessing Time Clock Settings, confirm the following:

  • The Time & Attendance feature is enabled for your organization.

  • You have at least the View Timeclock Devices permission under Labor > Time Clock > Devices Management. See the Security section below for the full permissions list.

Time Clock Settings lets you create and manage configuration groups that control timeclock behavior across your locations. From this page, you can add a new configuration group, edit an existing one, or review your current setup.


Security

Users must have the following permissions to access Time Clock Settings:

  • Labor

    • Time Clock

      • Devices Management

        • View Timeclock Devices

        • Edit Timeclock Devices

        • Add Timeclock Devices

        • Delete Timeclock Devices

View Timeclock Devices is required to access the Time Clock Settings page. The Add, Edit, and Delete permissions control whether you can make changes to configuration groups.

For users without the required permissions, the Settings (gear) button will not be visible in Timeclock Management. Contact your administrator to request access.

These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.


Navigation

Navigation Menu

  1. Open the Workforce application.

  2. Expand Time & Attendance.

  3. Select Timeclock management.

  4. Click the Settings button.

                       

Search

Navigate to pages with the R365 global search bar:

  1. Enter all or part of the page name in the R365 global search bar.

  2. Select the page from the results list.

Only enabled pages can be searched for. If the desired page is not enabled, contact your CSM for assistance.

Table Actions

  • Search - Filters the table for the entered text.

  • Filter - Opens the Filter menu, where filters based on column values can be applied. When filters are applied, the number of conditions is displayed next to the button.

  • Columns - Opens the Columns menu, where table columns can be hidden, shown, and rearranged. The number of hidden columns is displayed next to the button.

Add Group

Opens the New Time Clock Configuration screen, where you can define a configuration group name, assign locations, and set timeclock behavior options.

Configurations List

List of all existing time clock configurations.

Time Clock Configuration

Single time clock configuration and the configuration details.

The default configuration is labeled with a Default tag. This is the configuration that locations will automatically be added to unless assigned otherwise.

Columns

Column

Description

Group

The name assigned to the configuration group. Select a group name to open and edit the group's settings.

Applied Locations

The location or locations where this configuration group is active. A group can be applied to multiple locations.

Created On

Date the configuration group was created.

Modified On

Date of the most recent edit made to the configuration group.

Modified By

Username of the person who made the most recent edit to the configuration group.

After adding or editing a configuration group, the group appears in the list with its assigned locations and modification details. No additional save step is required on this screen.
