The Dashboard is the landing page of R365 Mobile and provides a quick view of key information through configurable widgets. Widgets display data such as sales performance, tasks, approvals, and shortcuts to frequently used tools. Users can customize their dashboard by swiping up to manage which widgets are displayed and in what order.

From this screen, users can:


Security

All users have access to the Dashboard screen. User permissions determine which widgets and shortcuts appear on the Dashboard.

Access to manager and back-office widgets (such as AP Approvals, Inventory, Daily Sales Summary, Restaurant Schedule, and Logbook) is granted through the standard user permissions managed on user records. For more information, see User Setup and Security.

Self-service widgets for employees (such as My Schedule, My Requests, My Time Off, and My Pay) are only accessible by users with the Employee App Access permission, which is managed on employee records. Learn more about managing Employee App Access.

My Shortcuts Widget

A customizable widget where users can pin shortcuts to frequently used tools. Only tools the user has permission to access will appear as options.

Tap and hold to customize My Shortcuts.

Shortcut Buttons

Tappable buttons inside the My Shortcuts widget that link directly to features such as Daily Sales Summary, Logbook, or Intelligence.

Widget Section

A section of the Dashboard that contains one or more widgets. Widget sections can be customized to show the features most relevant to the user.

Swipe up from the bottom on the screen or tap and hold to customize the displayed widgets.

A single dashboard widget that summarizes information from a feature. Tapping opens the associated feature.

Description

My Shortcuts

Provides customizable quick links to features the user has access to.

This widget cannot be hidden.

Announcements

Displays the most recent announcement.

Each announcement shows users the date of the announcement, the locations that the announcement is for, and a preview of the announcement message and any images attached.

This widget cannot be hidden.

Daily sales

Shows sales performance metrics for the selected day, including sales totals, labor %, over/short, and SPLH.

Logbook

Summarizes recent log entries, with counts by type (Entities, Must Read, Important).

The Logbook widget is available to users with the following permission:

  • Manager Log Smart Ops → Log Entries → View Log Entries

My tasks

Shows the number of overdue tasks, tasks due today, and request tasks assigned to the user.

Tapping an icon will take users to the corresponding task list.

This widget is available to users with Task Management permissions.

Open requests

Displays an overview of any existing schedule requests, including the number of:

The ‘Open requests’ widget is available to users with the following permission:

  • Labor → Scheduling → Schedule

My next shifts

Shows a brief overview of the user’s worked hours, as well as any upcoming shifts.

Available to users with employee app access.

My time off

Shows the user’s PTO accrual balances. From this widget, users can create a new time off request.

Only available to users whose organizations have PTO accruals enabled. Learn more about using PTO accruals on the R365 mobile app.
