Article summary

The Events tab of the Manager Tools page lists all events in a searchable grid.


Security

The following permissions apply to the Events tab:

  • Labor → Events →

    • View Events

    • Edit Events

    • Create Events

    • Import Events

    • Manage Event Categories

    • Delete Events


These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.


Navigation

The Events tab is found on the Manager Tools page.

  1. In the Operations app under the Labor category, select Manager Tools.

  2. Select the Events tab.


Events Grid


Button/Field

Description

Import

Opens the Import Events window.

+Create Menu

Contains the action button for creating an event, as well as action buttons for creating announcements, blackout days and time off requests.

Search

Filters the following columns for the entered text:

  • Event Name

  • Category

  • SubCategory

  • Created By

  • Modified By

Smart Grid Controls

Table ViewsSave/edit table views.
FilterFilter column information.
ColumnsRearrange table columns.
ExportExport the table to a .csv file.
RefreshRefresh the table.

Event

Summary details for a single event.

Click to open the event details in a sidesheet.

Columns

The Events grid has the following columns:

Column

Description

Event Name

User-entered name of the event.

Category

Event category associated with the assigned subcategory.

SubCategory

Subcategory assigned to the event.

Locations

Locations associated with the event.

When more than one location is assigned to the event, click to view all locations.

Start

Start date of the event for all-day events.

Start date and start time of the event for events with select hours.

End

End date of the event for all-day events.

End date and end time of the event for events with select hours.

Created On

Date event was created.

Created By

User who created the event.

Modified On

Date event was last edited.

Modified By

User who last edited the event.
