6

Unique user-entered name for the settings group.

7

Locations

Locations that settings are applied to.

Locations can only be in one settings group. Adding a location will remove it from other groups. Removed locations will be assigned to the ‘Default’ settings group.

All assigned locations must share the same workweek start day. A location cannot be assigned to the settings group if its workweek does not match that of the first selected location.

8

Effective date

Date that settings will be applied to assigned locations.

The effective date must align with the first day of the workweek for all assigned locations.

9

Start of business day

Defines the first hour of the business day for assigned locations.

A business day is the 24-hour period beginning at the configured start of day time.

Business days are used for sales and labor calculations and affect the dates shown on employee shifts.

For accurate sales and labor reporting, the start of day time in R365 should match the start of day time in the POS.

10

Operating Hours - Closed Day

Indicates that locations in the settings group are always closed on the associated day. Sales and labor are not forecasted for days set as ‘Closed’. Learn more about closed business days.

When the operating hours start time is set to ‘Closed’, the end time field is hidden.

One-off and partial closed business days are configured as events.

11

Operating Hours - Open Day

Defines the hours when labor is expected to be scheduled for locations assigned to the settings group.

Operating hours determine the range of hours used for labor forecasting and those displayed on the Schedule Calendar.

Operating hours must begin after the defined start of business day (#8) and must end within a 24-hour period.
