The QuickBooks Vendor Import screen is accessed from the QuickBooks Connection window of the Import Hub. It displays active vendors from all connected QuickBooks companies for review, edit, and selection prior to import.
Security
Users must have the following permission to access the QuickBooks Vendors Import Screen:
Administration → System Setup → Use Import Hub (Beta)
Accounts Payable → Vendors → Create Vendors
These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.

In Beta
The Import Hub is in beta for select customers.
Select Admin from the left navigation rail.
Expand the Import category.
Select Import hub (beta).
Click Start or Resume next to Vendors.
In the QuickBooks connection window, select Import Vendors.


Navigation Steps - Integrations page
Open the Admin application.
Expand the Integrations category.
Select Integrations.
Click Connect or Edit in the QuickBooks box.

In the QuickBooks Connection window, click Import Vendors.

QuickBooks Vendors Import Screen
R365 checks vendor names for duplicates and displays an alert when a match is found. The second vendor with the same name is not selected by default.

The integration does not import inactive vendors.

Vendor Table Columns
Fields in the vendor table are sourced from QuickBooks.
All fields are editable except the QuickBooks Company.

Vendor Name | The vendor name as it appears in QuickBooks (vendor display name). |
QuickBooks Company | The QuickBooks company the vendor was imported from. This field is read-only. |
Street address | The street address as it appears in QuickBooks. |
Apartment, suite, etc. | The apartment, suite, or other additional address information as it appears in QuickBooks. |
City | The city as it appears in QuickBooks. |
State | The state as it appears in QuickBooks. |
Postal code | The postal code as it appears in QuickBooks. |
Country | The country as it appears in QuickBooks. |
Phone | The phone number as it appears in QuickBooks. |
The email as it appears in QuickBooks. | |
Fax | The fax number as it appears in QuickBooks. |
Check name | The ‘Name to Print on Checks’ as it appears in QuickBooks. |
1099-NEC | Determines whether the vendor is 1099-Nonemployee compensation as defined in QuickBooks. This field pulls from ‘Track payments for 1099’ option in QuickBooks. |
Payment Terms | The payment terms as they appear in QuickBooks. If the payment term does not exist in R365 the vendor will be created but the payment term will not be assigned. Click the dropdown to select from the list of existing payment terms in Restaurant365. |
