QuickBooks Connection Window

The QuickBooks Connection window contains the settings for the QuickBooks Online integration.

Navigation Steps for Integrations Page

Use this option when connecting with QuickBooks to push GL (general ledger) data from Restaurant365 to QuickBooks Online.

Open the Admin application.
Expand the Integrations category.
Select Integrations.
Expand the Banking category.
Click Connect or Edit in the QuickBooks box.

Navigation Steps for Import Hub

Use this option when connecting with QuickBooks to import vendors or a chart of accounts from QuickBooks Online to Restaurant 365.

Open the Admin application.
Expand the Import category.
Select Import Hub.
In the Onboarding section, select Start or Resume in the desired import.
Set Integrate with QuickBooks Online as the Import Method.
Select Integrate with QuickBooks Online.
1. The example below displays the buttons on the vendor import, but the selections are the same for the Chart of Accounts import.

QuickBooks Connection Window Buttons and Fields

	Button/Field	Description
1	Connection Setup	Section of connection settings that apply to the integration.
2	Connection Admin	R365 User who manages the QuickBooks online integration and will receive alerts related to the integration.
3	Connected Companies	Lists the QuickBooks companies that are currently connected to R365.
4	Disconnect	Disconnects the company in that row from the integration.
5	Add Company	Opens a QuickBooks login window where credentials are entered.
6	Disconnect (all)	Disconnects all connected QuickBooks companies.
7	Chart of Accounts	Opens the Chart of Accounts import where GL accounts from the connected companies are brought into Restaurant365. Appears only when the QuickBooks Connection window is accessed through the Chart of accounts import in the Import Hub.
8	Import Vendors	Opens the QuickBooks Vendor Import screen where QuickBooks vendors are reviewed, edited, and selected for import. Vendors from all connected companies are pulled for review. Appears only when accessed from the Vendors import in the Import Hub.
9	Edit Mapping	Opens the QuickBooks Mapping screen where mapping is managed. Appears only when the QuickBooks Connection window is accessed from the Integrations page.
