Communication Log Page

Prev Next

The Communication Log page lists email and SMS messages sent from Restaurant365, including messages generated by Announcements, Manager Log, and other system features. The page opens on the Email log tab by default; a second tab lists SMS activity. Each entry shows the delivery status of the message and, when a message could not be delivered, the reason why.

From this page, users can:

  • Filter email or SMS records by sent date, status, reason, recipient, and source

  • Open a record to view its full message content and delivery details

  • Switch between the Email log and SMS log tabs

Messages that were never sent because the recipient's number was invalid, or because the recipient opted out of text messages, do not appear on the SMS log tab. R365 never attempts delivery for those numbers, so there is no send record to display.

Security

  • Administration → Audit Log → View Audit & Communication Log

These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.
