Article summary

R365 has three dashboards for Financials, Labor, and Operations to quickly review key metrics across Locations. These dashboards are mobile device friendly as well when opening with a Chrome browser!

Labor Dashboard

If you are using R365 Scheduling, you will have access to the Labor Dashboard from within the Smart Ops Release. The Labor Dashboard is a great tool for both Regional and Location Managers to track Scheduling trends, such as YoY Labor Cost variance, forecasted vs. actual Labor dollars, overtime hours, and more.

This dashboard will help you control costs across your Organization and give Location Managers quick insights into their Labor Performance.

Operations Dashboard

If you are using R365 Operations, you will have access to the Operations Dashboard from within the Smart Ops Release. This data will provide the most accurate information if the following are configured first:

One of the most valuable widgets on the Operations Dashboard is the Hourly Sales Summary widget, which by default reports week over week trends but can be toggled to show the variance between the current trends and either the prior week or the forecasted day's Sales. This is invaluable for adjusting your forecast throughout the period.

The Hourly Labor Analysis widget on the Operations Dashboard is similar to the Hourly Sales Summary widget except for the added benefit of displaying variance compared to your forecast once Smart Labor is set up. This is a powerful tool when paired with Intraday Polling, which allows your Managers to make real-time decisions during their shifts to optimize Labor based on Actual Sales.

Financial Dashboard

If you are have the Custom Financial Report Writer feature enabled, then you also have access to the Financial Dashboard. This dashboard allows you to view one or more Location's financial health and customize the available widgets by User. You and your Accounting Managers can quickly dive into COGS percentages by category, EBIT, EBITDA, profit margins, and more.

If you are interested in these features and do not have Custom Financial Reports enabled, reach out to your CSM for more information.
