Timecard Screen (Mobile)

The mobile Timecard screen displays detailed information for a selected shift, including employee details, worked hours, earnings, and a record of recent updates. Only shifts worked by the logged in user appear on this screen.

From this page, users can:

  • Review shift information, such as business date, hours worked, and clock in and clock out times.

  • View pay details, including pre-tax pay, tips, vacation pay, and break penalties.

  • Check the activity log for recent edits or adjustments to the shift.

  • Submit a shift dispute, or acknowledge a resolved dispute.

Security

Users must have the following permission to access the Timecard screen:

  • Employee App Access

This permission is granted through the ‘App Access’ checkbox on employee records. Learn more about employee app access.

The My timecards screen is only available when R365 Timecards is enabled, replacing the Time punches screen.


Navigation

Navigation Menu

  1. Select More from the bottom tab bar.

  2. Select My timecards.

  3. Select the desired shift.


Timecard Screen Buttons and Fields

Button/Field

Description

Back button

Returns to the previous screen.

Timecard header

Shows the user’s profile information for the shift, including:

  • Preferred name

  • Job title

  • Work location

  • Hourly pay rate

  • Approval status - statuses include:

    • Needs review — default state before employee sign-off.

    • Disputed — dispute submitted and pending manager decision.

    • Dispute approved — manager approved the dispute.

    • Dispute denied — manager rejected the dispute.

    • Approved — employee has signed off on the timecard.

Shift

Lists details for the shift worked, including:

  • Total hours

  • Business date

  • Clock in time

  • Clock out time

Reflects the actual hours worked on that date.

Earnings

Shows pay details calculated for the shift, including:

  • Pre-tax hourly pay

  • Tips

  • Vacation pay

  • Break penalties

Activity log

Displays a chronological record of changes made to the shift.

Each entry includes:

  • Editor’s name

  • Action taken

  • Relative timestamp (such as ‘2 days ago’)

Approve button

Approves the timecard for payroll.

Submit dispute button

Opens the form to submit a timecard dispute.
