Location Profile

The Location Profile screen displays optional additional attributes of the restaurant location.

From this screen, users can:

  • Set the restaurant type (quick service, fine dining, food truck, etc.)

  • Set the seating capacity and options

  • Define other options, such as delivery services and online ordering partners

The Location Profile can only be utilized once the Location Type on its Location record is set to 'Restaurant' and the record has been saved and refreshed.


Security

Users must have the following permission to view or edit the location profile:

  • Administration → Locations → Edit Locations

  • Administration → Locations → View Locations

These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.


Navigation

1) From the Location Record

On the 'General' tab, click the 'Edit Location Profile' link.

2) From the Locations Grid

Under the 'Profile' column, click the blue icon .

Only Locations that have a Location Type of 'Restaurant' set on their Location record will display the Location Profile icon


Location Profile Fields

Field

Restaurant Type

The service style or concept. Options include:

  • Quick Service

  • Fast Casual

  • Full Service

  • Fine Dining

  • Food Truck

  • Bar

  • Entertainment Venue

  • Ghost Kitchen

  • Other

Seating Capacity

Maximum number of customers at the location at one time.

Location Features

Additional amenities available at the location.

Drive Thru

Defines whether the location features no, one, or multiple drive thru lanes.

To Go/Curbside Area

Defines whether the location has a dedicated To Go/Curbside area.

If selected, the 'Staff at Peak' field is required. This is the number of employees expected to be clocked in at the busiest service times.

Delivery Services

Defines whether the location utilizes third-party delivery services and which ones.

Online Ordering

Defines whether the location utilizes the default POS online ordering service, a proprietary service, and/or third-party delivery services, and which ones.

Save

Confirms changes to the Location Profile.

Close

Closes the Location Profile without saving.
