Inventory Count Settings Page

From the Inventory Counts page, the Inventory Count Settings page can be opened. The Inventory Count Settings page lists all existing inventory templates and enables users to create new inventory templates.

Security

Users must have the following permission to view the Inventory Count Settings Page:

  • Food → Inventory Count Template → View Inventory Count Templates

Navigation

Inventory templates are created on the Inventory Count Settings page. To navigate to this page:

  1. Open the Inventory application.

  2. Expand Inventory.

  3. Select Inventory Counts.

  4. Click the gear button.

Create

Creates a new inventory template. Learn more about creating a new inventory template.

Table Views

Saved table filters and column settings. The highlighted view is currently displayed. Click on a view to display the table with the saved filter and columns settings.

Table Options

Include the following table options:

  • Search - Filters the table for the entered text.

  • Filter - Opens the Filter menu, where filters based on column values can be applied. When filters are applied, the number of conditions is displayed next to the button. 

  • Columns - Opens the Columns menu, where table columns can be hidden, shown, and rearranged. The number of hidden columns is displayed next to the button.

  • Export - Exports the table to a .csv file.

  • Refresh Data - Refreshes the table without changing the view.

  • Row Height - Switches table row spacing between tall, medium, or short.

  • Striped Rows - Enables or disables alternating row colors.

Templates Table

Lists all the existing templates and their details.

Templates Table Columns

The Templates table has the following columns:

Column

Description

Template Name

Name of the inventory template.

Locations

Location(s) or location groups where the inventory template is available for use.

Items

Number of items on the template.

Schedule

Type of schedule set on the template. This will either be On Demand, Weekly, or Period.

Hover over the schedule type to read the schedule description.

GL Posting

Whether the template is GL posting or not.

Created On

Date the template was created.

Created By

User that created the template.

Modified By

User that last edited the template.

Modified On

Date that the template was last edited.
