R365 App users can create group chats to message each other about schedule updates, shift trades, and more without disclosing any personal phone numbers.
Users can create group chat threads by manually selecting multiple recipients.
Once a group chat has been created, the group chat can be edited from the Group info screen.
Start a Group Message
To start a group chat, follow these steps:
Click steps to expand for additional information and images.
1) Navigate to the Messages tab of the Communication screen.

2) Tap the Create button to start a new thread.

3) Select Create a new group.

4) Add a group name for the chat. (Required)
The group name will be visible to all members of the chat and managers.

5) Tap Members to add recipients to the chat.

6) Search for recipients using the search bar or by scrolling through the recipient list. Once the necessary recipients are selected, tap Done.

To remove one or more selected recipients before starting the chat, do one of the following:
Tap the recipient below the search bar
Uncheck the recipient from the list
Tap the Clear button to remove all selected recipients
7) Once all of the necessary recipients are added to the group, tap Create.

8) Compose the message, then tap the send icon to send it to the selected recipients.

The date and time that the message was sent/received will be displayed on the outgoing/incoming messages.
Group Info Screen
Like the Member info screen in a single-user message, the Group info screen displays all the information about a group chat.
From here, all users can:
Edit the name of the chat and group members
Mute, archive, report, or leave the chat
Users with access to Employees can:
Find employee direct contact information by tapping their employee picture

Group Info Screen Buttons and Fields

4 | Mute/Unmute | Tap to toggle the group chat notifications on or off. |

6 | Report | Tap to report inappropriate messages in the group chat to the scheduling managers. Learn more about reporting messages. |
7 | Leave | Tap to leave the group chat. This will remove access to the chat. |
8 | Member list | The list of members included in the group chat. Users with access to Employees can find employee direct contact details on the recipient’s Employee details screen by tapping their employee picture. |
