Employees (Mobile)

The Employees page in the R365 mobile app provides a searchable employee roster where managers can access direct contact options to reach team members. This allows managers to call, text, and email employees from anywhere in the restaurant or when off-site without having to look up contact info on the R365 web version or store contacts separately on their device.

From this page, managers can quickly find and tap on employees to open the Employee details page, which lists the selected employee’s assigned jobs along with available direct contact options. Learn about how employees can update their contact information in the R365 app.

The Employee details page can also be directly accessed wherever employees are found in the app, including shift details, schedule requests, and R365 message threads.


Security

Users must have the following permission(s) to access the Employees and Employees Details pages.

  • Labor → Employees → View Employees

These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.

  1. Select More from the bottom tab bar.

  2. Select Employees.

Filter the employee list for the entered characters.

Employee list entry

Displays the employee’s preferred name, or first and last name, and primary location. Tap to open the Employee details page.

Displays the employee’s primary location.

Tap to open a list of all locations where the employee works with their assigned jobs.

Email

Email the employee in the default device email app.

Phone number

Open options to call or text the employee in the default device apps.

When R365 messaging is enabled, open an existing R365 message thread or start a new thread with the employee.
