The Okta Single Sign-On integration is connected and managed from the Single Sign-On page. This integration enables R365 to authenticate users through Okta using a single set of credentials. Learn more about Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations.
R365 supports OIDC (OpenID Connection) app integration with Okta.
Single Sign-On (SSO) must be enabled before a connection with an Okta can be configured. Learn more about enabling SSO.
Okta SSO Setup
SSO configuration requires setup in both Okta and in R365.
Setup in Okta
To complete the Okta portion of the setup, the sign-in redirect URI from R365 is needed.
Follow these steps to obtain the sign-in redirect URI from R365 and complete the Okta portion of the setup:

1) Navigate to the Single Sign-On page.
Click Admin in the left navigation rail.
Expand the Users & Security category.
Click Single Sign-On (SSO).

2) In the Okta row, select Connect or Edit, depending on the current connection status.

3) Copy the sign-in redirect URI.

4) Log into Okta, then in the Application section, complete the steps to add a new app integration.

5) Make note of the Client ID and Client Secret for setup in R365.
The Client ID is generated once the application setup in Okta is complete.
These fields will be entered into R365 on the SSO connection screen.
The Client ID is found in the ‘Client Credentials’ section in the Okta application setup.
The Client Secret is found in the ‘Client Secrets’ section in the Okta application setup.
Setup in R365
To complete the R365 portion of the setup, the credentials from Okta are entered on the SSO Connection screen.
Follow these steps to enter the Okta credentials in R365 and complete the setup:
1) Navigate to the Single Sign-On page.
Click Admin in the left navigation rail.
Expand the Users & Security category.
Click Single Sign-On (SSO).

2) In the Okta row, select Connect or Edit, depending on the current connection status.

3) Enter the Client ID.
After saving the OIDC application in Okta, these credentials are provided in the OIDC app integration setup.
The Client ID is found in the ‘Client Credentials’ section in the Okta application setup.

4) Enter the Client Secret.
After saving the OIDC application in Okta, these credentials are provided in the OIDC app integration setup.
The Client Secret is found in the ‘Client Secrets’ section in the Okta application setup.

5) Enter the Okta Domain in the Authority field.

6) Click Connect.

7) Review the status to confirm connection.
If the connection is successful, the status will display ‘Connected’.
If the connection is not successful, the status will display ‘Not Connected’.
The Okta sign-in option appears on the R365 login screen only when the connection is successfully established.
