The available reasons for editing, adding, or deleting a timecard in Time & Attendance are managed on any timecard.
When editing reasons, new reasons can be added and existing reasons can be deleted. The names of existing reasons cannot be changed.
Security
Users must have the following permission(s) to manage timecard reasons:
Labor → Punch Edits → Create/Edit/Delete Punch Edit Reasons
These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.
Add Editing Reasons
Follow these steps to add additional editing reasons:

1) Open any timecard.
2) Scroll to the Reason section.
3) Click the Reasons dropdown menu, then select Edit Reasons.
4) Click +Add new reason.
5) Enter a name for the reason, then click the Checkmark button or click Enter on the keyboard.
6) To add additional reasons, repeat steps 4 - 5. (Optional)
7) Click Back or click anywhere outside of the Reasons dropdown to close the menu.
Delete Existing Reasons
Follow these steps to delete editing reasons:

1) Open any timecard.
2) Scroll to the Reason section.
3) Click the Reasons dropdown menu, then select Edit Reasons.
4) Locate the desired existing reason, then click the associated X button. (This action cannot be undone)
The following default reasons cannot be deleted:
Late Clock In
Late Clock Out
No Clock In
No Clock Out
Not Scheduled
Termination
Wrong Job
