The Bank Accounts page includes a bulk edit feature that allows the same Routing number, bank, check format, and location to be applied to multiple bank accounts in a single operation. Only these four fields support bulk editing; all other fields must be updated individually by clicking directly on the field in the Bank Accounts grid.
Bank accounts can be edited in two ways:
Security
Users must have the following to edit bank accounts:
Banking → Bank Accounts → Edit Bank Accounts
These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.

2) Use the checkboxes to select the bank accounts to update.
Click the checkbox on each row to select individual accounts. To select all visible accounts, click the Select All checkbox in the column header. The toolbar displays the count of selected accounts.
Ensure all accounts selected share a check format, routing number, bank, and location.
Select All only selects accounts currently visible in the grid. If filters are active, only the filtered accounts are selected. Selections are cleared when navigating away from the Bank Accounts page.

3) In the action bar, click edit (the pencil button).

4) Complete the fields in the Edit Bank Accounts window.
All fields must be completed before Apply Changes becomes active.
Check Format: Select US or Canadian (default: US).
Routing Number: The routing number to apply to all selected accounts.
US format: exactly 9 numeric digits.
Canadian format: #####D### (for example, 12345D678). Format is determined by the Check Format set on each account.
Bank: Select from the dropdown showing all banks configured for the organization. The selected bank is applied to all selected accounts.
Location: Select from the dropdown showing all locations. The selected location is applied to all selected accounts.
Selecting a location links the account to that location for default use but does not limit which locations can view or use the account.
Locations in the dropdown are limited to locations available to the bank account and the current users location access.
5) Click Apply Changes.
All selected accounts are updated. The selection clears and the grid refreshes with the updated values.

To cancel without applying changes, click Cancel in the action bar.
