The Variance to Schedule page defines rules that control how much an employee’s actual clock times can differ from their scheduled shift before consent is required. These rules help enforce labor policies, manage wage compliance, and reduce unexpected labor costs.
Use Variance to Schedule rules to:
Set minute thresholds for early or late clock-ins
Set minute thresholds for early or late clock-outs
Define the minimum wage used to evaluate variance thresholds
Assign rules to specific locations
