The Home page in the Dashboards app shows a location's financial health at a glance. It combines a Profitability Score, an R365 Adoption Score, and prioritized recommendations in one place, so sales, cost, and R365 usage data do not need to be checked across separate reports.
This page features several parts: the Profitability Overview widget, the profitability score details , and the Recommendations widget. Learn more about the Profitability Overview Widget, Profitability Score Details, and the Recommendations.
No setup is required to view the Profitability Overview. It appears automatically on the Home dashboard for users holding the Restaurant Manager, Above Store Manager, Accounting Admin, Operations Admin, Full Access, R365 Global Admin roles or users with the correct permissions.
Security
The profitability dashboard is available to users with the following permission:
Administration → Dashboards → Home Dashboard → View Home Dashboard

Navigation Steps
Open the Dashboards app.
Select Home.
Search
Navigate to pages with the R365 global search bar:
Enter all or part of the page name in the R365 global search bar.
Select the page from the results list.
Only enabled pages can be searched for. If the desired page is not enabled, contact your CSM for assistance.
Location Selector
Use the location picker on the Home page to choose which location's data the Profitability Overview and Profitability Score Details reflect. Selecting a different location updates both areas to show that location's score, totals, and recommendations. The picker only lists locations you have access to — if a location is missing, contact an administrator to confirm your permissions.
Home Page Sections
Profitability Overview
The Profitability Overview widget contains the profitability health score, period totals, and the four metrics driving the score.
On the Profitability Overview widget, users can:
Review the profitability health score and tier for the selected period.
Review period totals, including net sales and prime cost.
Open the Profitability Score Details drawer.
Profitability Score Details
Selecting How it’s calculated on the Profitability Overview widget opens the Profitability Score Details panel, which contains a full breakdown of the Profitability Score and the R365 Adoption Score.
From the Profitability Score Details panel:
Review the metric-by-metric breakdown behind the Profitability Score.
Review the domain-by-domain breakdown behind the R365 Adoption Score.
Labor Scheduling Onboarding
The Labor Scheduling widget appears on the Home screen for organizations that have Labor Scheduling enabled and have not yet completed setup. Clicking the card prompt opens a guided setup process. The card no longer appears once setup is complete. Learn more about the Labor Scheduling widget.
The Labor Scheduling widget applies at the organization level. Once Scheduling has been enabled and at least one employee and one job exist anywhere in the system, the setup card will appear. Completing the wizard activates Labor Scheduling for the entire organization, not just one location.
Recommendations Widget
The Recommendations widget contains prioritized suggestions tied to the Profitability Score and R365 Adoption Score.
On the Recommendations widget:
Review a recommendation.
Open usage details for a recommendation.
Follow the suggested next actions for a recommendation.
FAQ
Why do I not see the Profitability Overview on my Home dashboard?
The Profitability Overview is visible to users holding the Restaurant Manager, Above Store Manager, Accounting Admin, Operations Admin, Full Access, or R365 Global Admin role. Users must have the Administration → Dashboards → Home → View Home Dashboard permission. Contact an administrator to confirm role assignment.
Does the Profitability Overview replace any existing reports?
No. Existing Profitability and P&L reports continue to run exactly as before. See Profitability Report for the report that is unrelated to the Profitability Score.
