Tip Makeup Rules Record

Prev Next

Tip Makeup rules define how Restaurant365 calculates additional wages for tipped employees when their combined hourly wages and tips fall below the required minimum wage. When a tipped employee’s total earnings do not meet the minimum threshold, the system adds a tip makeup amount to ensure compliance.

Use Tip Makeup rules to:

  • Ensure tipped employees meet minimum wage requirements

  • Apply consistent wage calculations across locations

  • Automate tip makeup calculations during payroll processing
