When an instance is marked as a favorite, it appears at the top of the multi-instance switcher dropdown menu.
Instances are favorited on the Instances screen. Favorites only apply to the user who sets them.

All users with access to multi-instance switching can favorite instances. Learn more about managing multi-instance users.
Favorite or Unfavorite an Instance
Follow these steps to favorite or unfavorite an instance:

1) Navigate to the Instances screen.
Select the multi-instance switcher in the system header.
Select Manage instances.
2) In the Instance/URL column for the desired instance, click the Star icon.
The search bar filters the instances list based on the instance/URL or the current nickname.
A filled star indicates the instance is a favorite. An empty star indicates the instance is not a favorite.
The Favorites tab lists all favorited instances.
