Print a Recipe

This article covers printing the new recipe record. Users can switch between the new recipe record and the classic experience.  Read about the classic recipe record.

Recipes can be printed, if needed. Physical copies of recipes may be needed when devices or wi-fi are unavailable. They serve as a reliable back up and ensure that physical copies of recipes can be shared offline.  

Recipes are printed from an open recipe record.


Navigation

  1. Open the Inventory and Sales application.

  2. Expand Recipes.

  3. Select Recipes.


Print a Recipe

To print a recipe, follow these steps:

  1. On the Recipes page, locate the recipe that needs to be printed.

  2. Click the line entry to open the recipe.

  3. Open the recipe record’s menu.

  4. From the dropdown, select Print.

  5. Manage the print settings, and click Print / Save.

Ingredients List

List of the ingredients, their measurements, and updated cost per ingredient.

At the bottom of the list is the total ingredients and total cost of one batch.

Additional recipe information, including:

  • Prep minutes

  • Cook minutes

  • Finish minutes

  • Shelf life days

  • Serving plate

  • Container

  • Tools

Steps

The condensed steps of the recipe. These are the user-entered steps needed to assemble the recipe.

Printed Date

The date the recipe was printed.

Always review the dates of printed recipes to ensure that the most up-to-date recipe is being viewed. Keep the most up-to-date recipe printed.
