Article summary

This article covers the differences between the Legacy and Classic R365 navigation and the new R365 navigation experience. The new R365 navigation experience will be enabled for all customers throughout 2025; contact your CSM to learn more.

When the new navigation is enabled, the New Nav Experience toggle allows users to switch between the new navigation and legacy/classic navigation. This flexibility helps users adapt to the updated experience before it becomes permanent. Although the toggle will eventually be removed, no timeline has been set for its removal.

New Features Added to the New Navigation Experience

Left Rail App Switcher

In the new experience, a new left rail application switcher has been added to the left side of the page that allows users to switch between R365 applications and modules. The left rail lists all R365 applications that the user has access to.

App Switcher

In the new experience, an application switcher has been added to the main R365 header, which allows users to switch between R365 applications. When clicked, there will be a dropdown of R365 applications. The applications are sorted into those that the organization has enabled and additional apps available for purchase.

R365 Search

A search bar for searching within R365 has been added to the main R365 header.

Create Menu

When accessing pages found in the Reports module from Accounting, Operations, or Workforce applications, the page will open in the Reports module.
