    Delete a Tip Distribution

    Pending tip distributions and test distributions can be deleted on the Tip Automation page. Approved distributions cannot be deleted. To delete an approved distribution, it must be unapproved first.

    Security

    Only users with the following permission will be able to delete a tip distribution:

    • Labor →Tip Automation → Delete Pending Distributions

    Delete a Pending Tip Distribution

    Follow these steps to delete a pending distribution:

    1) On the Tip Automation page, select the Pending tab.

    2) Click the Trashcan button associated with the desired distribution.

    Once deleted, the distribution will not prevent associated daily sales summaries or other distributions from being approved. Deleted distributions are not regenerated when the DSS is repolled.

    As long as the associated rule has not been deleted, deleted distributions can be restored from the Deleted Distributions list of the Tip Automation page.

    Delete a Test Distribution

    Follow these steps to delete a test distribution:

    Click steps to expand for additional information and images.

    1) On the Tip Automation page, select the Test tab.

    2) Click the Trashcan button associated with the desired distribution.

    Once deleted, the test distribution cannot be restored. Test distributions can be recreated by placing the associated rule in test mode again.
