Autopilot is an interview-scheduling tool in R365 Hire (powered by CareerPlug). Once a user connects a calendar, Autopilot automatically arranges interview times with candidates, cutting down the back-and-forth of manual scheduling.
What Autopilot does
After a user connects their calendar, Autopilot:
Sends candidates scheduling messages by text and email (candidates must opt in to text messages)
Schedules interviews based on the user's connected calendar availability
Lets the user select which team member conducts each interview
Autopilot's messages are pre-generated and can't be customized.
Who uses it
Hiring managers and other users who interview candidates through R365 Hire.
Setup
Setting up Autopilot involves two parts: connecting a calendar and turning Autopilot on for a hiring process (the sequence of steps — like phone screen, interview, and offer — a candidate moves through for a job posting). You can do these in either order.
Connect a calendar
Select the profile icon in the top right corner of the page, then select My Profile.
From the My Profile page, select Calendars in the left navigation menu.
Select Edit to open calendar settings.
In the Autopilot Calendar Integration section, select a calendar provider and complete the sign-in steps for that account.
Select Save, then select Manage Interview Availability.
Set interview availability by selecting timeslots. Selected days and times repeat weekly until changed again.
Set how many days in advance a candidate can schedule an interview, then select Save.
Turn on Autopilot for a hiring process
Select the gear icon in the top right corner of the page to open Settings.
In the Hiring Tools tab, select Hiring Process from the left navigation menu.
Find the hiring process that needs Autopilot and select Use Autopilot. A hiring process already using Autopilot shows "(Autopilot)" in its name.
Select the interview steps that should use Autopilot, then select Continue. Only steps compatible with Autopilot appear with a checkbox.
Select the jobs that should move to the updated hiring process, then select Continue. Candidates for those jobs move to the matching step in the new process.
Close the setup assistant once finished. If a calendar is already connected, select Go to Applicants. If not, select Connect Your Calendar from this screen to finish setup.
For the full setup walkthrough, see the CareerPlug Help Center.
Good to know
If none of a hiring process's interview steps are compatible with Autopilot, no steps will appear with a checkbox in step 4 of "Turn on Autopilot for a hiring process."
If a calendar is disconnected after Autopilot has already scheduled interviews, those interviews are not automatically canceled.
FAQ
Does Autopilot work without a connected calendar?

Can more than one team member use Autopilot for the same job posting?
Yes. A user can select any eligible team member as the interviewer when scheduling.
Can Autopilot's candidate messages be customized?
No. Autopilot's text and email messages are pre-generated and can't be edited.
