Point of sale (POS) items can be archived and/or restored in R365. When a POS item is archived, the item is set to an archived or inactive state. Once an item is archived, it is moved on to the Archived Items list and no longer an active POS item.
At any time, the POS item can be restored. This can be done by locating the item on the Archived Items list and clicking Restore. Once an item has been restored, it will move back to the list of active POS items and be available for use.
Archiving unused POS items ensures that the POS item list is cleaner, focused, and organized.
Navigation
Point of Sale Items Page
Open the Sales & Forecasting application.
Expand Menu Items.
Select Point of Sale Items.

Archive POS Items
On the POS Items list, locate and open the POS item that needs to be archived.
Click the menu button.
From the dropdown, click Archive Item.
The POS item is now archived, and the status will change from Active to Archived.

Restore POS Items
From the Point of Sale Items page, click the mPl;tems list.
On the Archived Items list, locate the POS item(s) that need to be restored.
Click the menu button.

Click the checkbox to select the POS item to restore.From the dropdown menu, click Restore.
- OR -From the bulk action bar, click the Restore button.
The POS menu item will be restored to the active POS items list, and the status will change from Archived to Active.
