Ask Advisor AI is available on the Sales Growth % and Labor Cost % metric cards in the What's Driving Health Score section of the Spotlight page.

Security

Users must have the following permission to use Ask Advisor AI from the Spotlight page:

  • Administration → Dashboard → Home Dashboard → View Home Dashboard

These permissions can be added to custom user roles or individual users. The Permission Access report can be used to determine which user roles or users already have these permissions assigned. For more information, see User Setup and Security.

Navigation Steps

  1. Open the Dashboards app.

  2. Select Spotlight from the left navigation rail or the dashboard selector.

Search

Navigate to pages with the R365 global search bar:

  1. Enter all or part of the page name in the R365 global search bar.

  2. Select the page from the results list.

Only enabled pages can be searched for. If the desired page is not enabled, contact your CSM for assistance.


Ask Advisor AI

Follow these steps to use Ask Advisor AI on a Spotlight metric:

Click steps to expand for additional information and images.

1) In the What's Driving Health Score section, locate the Sales Growth % or Labor Cost % metric card.

2) Click Ask Advisor.

3) Select an option from the dropdown.

Two options are available:

  • Explain this metric — returns an explanation of the factors driving the current metric result.

  • How to improve — returns AI-generated suggestions for improving the metric.

Once a selection is made, the Advisor panel opens and automatically sends a pre-written prompt. The written prompt will be determined by the following:

  • Ask Advisor selection made (Explain this metric or How to improve)

  • Location

  • Time comparison

  • Metric card (Sales growth % or Labor cost %)

The Advisor will begin thinking automatically.

4) Review the Advisor panel.

AI can make mistakes. Ensure that the information is properly reviewed before acting on the recommendations.

The Advisor panel opens and displays:

  • Key findings — a summary of the primary factors driving the metric result.

  • Recommended actions — suggested steps to address the identified factors.
