Custom Fields Page

The Custom Fields page contains a list of user-generated Custom Fields in R365. Custom Fields are used to assign user-generated values to transactions and then report on those values.

From this page, users can perform the following actions:


Security

Users with the following permission can view the Custom Field Settings:

  • Administration → Custom Fields → Custom Fields Setup → View Custom Field

Users with the following permissions can edit the Custom Fields Settings:

  • Administration → Custom Fields → Custom Fields Setup → Edit Custom Field


Navigation

  1. Hover over Administration in the top ribbon, then select Custom Fields.

Button/Field

Description

+ Add Field

Opens a blank Custom Fields record,

Search

Filters the grid for the entered text.

Default View

Opens a list of the following options:

  • Save Current View - Saves the current view as a dropdown option for future use.

  • Edit Table Views: Displays a list of custom views that can be edited or deleted.

  • Previously created views - Views that were previously saved are displayed for selection.

Columns

Opens the column menu where users can show/hide and rearrange columns.

Filter

Opens the Filter Columns window where users can create and apply filters to the table.

More Menu

Opens an additional menu of the following options:

  • Row Height - Gives user the option to set small, medium, or large row heights for the grid.

  • Export to Excel - Exports the grid to csv.

  • Refresh Data - Refreshes the page to display the most current information.

Custom Field Row

Opens the custom field record.

+ Add custom field

Creates a Custom Field.


Columns

Column

Description

Field Name

User-generated name of the custom field.

Field Type

Displays the option selection method for the custom field.

The field type is fixed and cannot be edited.

Records

Displays the records added to the custom field.

Active

Displays the status of the custom field: Active or Inactive.
