This article reviews the steps for creating a schedule approval configuration, which enables the schedule approvals workflow for assigned locations.
Security
Users must have the following permission to view or edit schedule approvals:
Labor → Scheduling → Schedule → Approvals → Add/Edit/Delete Schedule Approval Configuration
Create a Schedule Approval Configuration
Follow these steps to create a new schedule approval configuration:
Click steps to expand for additional information and images.
1) Navigate to the Schedule Settings page by clicking on the Gear icon in the header of the Schedule page.
2) Select the Schedule Approvals tab, then click the + New Approval button
A blank Schedule Approval sidesheet will open.
3) Name the schedule approval configuration.
4) Select the locations to enable the schedule approvals workflow for.
Locations can only be assigned to one schedule approval configuration.
5) Set the number of days before the start of the schedule week that unapproved schedules will be automatically approved and published.
6) Save.
7) If selected location(s) were already assigned to a schedule approval configuration, confirm that locations should be moved.
Click Move Locations to assign the conflicting location(s) to the current schedule approval configuration and remove them from the conflicting configuration.
Click Don’t Move to unassign the conflicting location(s) from the current schedule approval configuration.
