  1. +Create - Click to Create a New Unit of Measure

  2. Table View Actions - The Table Actions including the following:

    •  - Save/edit Table Views

    •  - Filter Column information

    •  - Rearrange table columns and select the Columns to display

    •  - Export the table to a .csv file

    •  - Refresh the table

  3. Search -  Use this field to search for a specific Unit of Measure listing

  4. Column Headers- The name of the columns. From the Column Header, Users can do the following:

    1. Click and and hold a Column Header to enable the drag and drop feature. This allows Users to reorder the Columns.

    2. Click a Column Header once to reorder the Item Category List from ascending order  to descending order 

    3. Click the Column Header Checkbox to Select All Rows. Click individual or multiple Checkboxes to bulk edit

      Bulk Edit
      When multiple boxes are selected, Users will have the option to bulk edit by clicking the edit icon.


      From the bulk edit options, Users can edit the Purchasing UofM, Recipe UofM, or Active setting for multiple Units of Measure at the same time.


      Merging UofMs
      When the UofMs being multi-selected have identical information, Users will also have the option to Merge UofMs. To read more about merging UofMs, click here.

  5. Unit of Measure Entry - The U of M listing with all the information selected for display. Click a Unit of Measure Name to open an existing Unit of Measure form. In each Unit of Measure Entry, Users will see the following information:

    • Name- The name given to the Unit of Measure

    • Equivalent Qty- The quantity of units

      This field can be edited in the grid by clicking the existing Qty to enter a new value
       

    • Equivalent UofM- The specific Unit of Measure this UofM is using

      This field can be edited in the grid by clicking the existing UofM to open the dropdown selector
       

    • Purchasing UofM- Whether this U of M is available as a Purchase U of M. When toggle is on, it is available to be selected as a Purchase U of M

      This toggle can be turned on or off in the grid to change the UofM's availability as a Purchase UofM

    • Recipe UofM- Whether this U of M is available as Recipe U of M. When toggle is on, it is available to be selected as Recipe U of M

      This toggle can be turned on or off in the grid to change the UofM's availability as a Recipe UofM
       

    • Active- Whether this U of M is active in the system. When toggle is on, it is active as a U of M option throughout the system

      This toggle can be turned on or off in the grid to change the UofM to active or inactive in the system
       

    • Measure Type - The type of Measurement this is: weight, volume, each.

      Additional information can be added or removed from the table by changing the 'Columns' settings or rearranged by dragging and dropping the Column Headers


UofM Editing Restrictions

Users with instances created after May 2023 will be unable to modify the following system-default UofMs:

  • #10 Can

  • .5 Gallon

  • 2 Gallon Jug

  • Bag - 1 LB

  • Bag - 1.5 LB

  • Bag - 3 CT

  • Bag - 50LB

  • Bag (25LB)

  • Bag (5Lb)

  • Bag (Chopped) - 2 LB

  • Bag (Chopped) - 5 LB

  • Bag (Sliced) - 5 LB 

  • Beef Chub

  • Bottle (12 oz) 

  • Can - 5 LB

  • Case

  • Case-10/lb

  • Case-12/3 CT

  • Case-2/1 Gallon

  • Case - 24 CT

  • Case - 24/Bottle (12oz)
