Restore a Deleted Inventory Template

A deleted inventory template can only be restored if the template has previously been used on an inventory count.

To restore a deleted inventory template, navigate to the inventory counts page. Then, follow these steps:

Click steps to expand for additional information and images.

1) Enter the template name in the search bar to locate the most recent inventory count that used the deleted template.

Sort the table by date, descending by clicking the Date column header until the arrow points down. The Template column should have the name of the deleted template.

2) Click the most recent inventory count that used the deleted template.

3) From the open inventory count, click the context menu icon.

4) From the dropdown, click the Export Count Sheet option.

This will download a CSV file containing all the storage locations and items on the count.

5) Exit the inventory count by clicking the x icon in the top right corner of the inventory count.

6) Click the +Create button in the top right corner of the page

7) Select the Inventory Count Template option.

This will open a blank inventory count template sheet.

8) Fill out the information in the General Information section.

The information added here should match the general information of the deleted template that is being recreated.

9) From the count sheet header, open the context menu.

10) From the dropdown, select Import Template.

This will open the importer.

11) Click the Browse button to search for the downloaded count sheet or drag and drop the count sheet into the importer.

12) Select the downloaded count sheet, then click Open.

13) Once the file is added, click Import.

14) The storage location(s) and item(s) from the deleted template will be added to the count template. Click Save to save the template.
