Start of Day and Restaurant Hours are being consolidated to a new page, Location Hours. This article reviews the changes between the legacy location and the new new location.
With the latest update, Location hours is the central place for managing restaurant hours. Found in the Locations & Legal Entities section, this page combines tools that were previously in multiple places. The Start of day page is removed, and operating hours have moved from the Labor matrix tab in Labor rules to Location hours.
Managing hours in one place reduces duplicate work and improves accuracy. Location hours keeps opening, closing, and operating times consistent across reporting and scheduling.
What Changed?
Start of Day and Restaurant Hours are no longer separate pages.
All settings now appear in the Location Hours page.
Location Hours combines opening times, closing times, and daily start times in one view.
Restaurant Hours New Location
Restaurant Operating Hours is moving from the Labor Matrix tab of the Labor Rules page to the new page, Location Hours.
New location:
Open the Admin application.
Expand Locations & legal entities.
Select Location Hours.
Legacy location:
Open the Admin application.
Expand Workforce.
Select Labor Rules.
Click the Labor Matrix tab.
Start of Day New Location
The Start of Day page will be deprecated. The functionality now exists within Location Hours. Location Hours is now the central place for start of day hours.
New location:
Open the Admin application.
Expand Locations & legal entities.
Select Location Hours.
