Important Note About Turning Off AI Shift Assist
Turning Enable AI Shift Assist off automatically turns off Automatically assign accepted shifts in the same action.
Turn On/Off Automatic Assignment
When this toggle is on, and an employee accepts an offered shift, it will automatically be approved. When this toggle is off, all accepted shifts will continue to await approval.
When Automatically assign accepted shifts is enabled, only preferred and eligible employees will be auto-approved. Employees requiring review will still require manager approval regardless of whether automatically assign is on or off.
Follow these steps to automatically assign shifts that are claimed through AI Shift Assist:
Click steps to expand for additional information and images.
1) Navigate to the AI Shift Assist tab of Schedule Settings.
See the steps above.

2) Toggle Automatically assign accepted shifts on.
Shifts requiring manager approval, such as those that would create overtime, remain pending for review even when this toggle is on.
