The Payroll Locations page displays all locations used for payroll processing. Locations in Workforce are used for various R365 Payroll purposes, such as determining tax forms for employees, calculating taxes for payroll payments, and providing workers' compensation job code options on Employee records.
When Location Sync is enabled, this page becomes read-only. R365 → Locations becomes the single source of truth for location management, and all location creation, editing, and deletion must be performed there.
Location Sync — Read-Only Mode
When the client setting is enabled, the Payroll Locations page is read-only. The Add Location button is hidden, and edit and delete functions are disabled. Attempting to create or edit a location from this page redirects to the R365 Location form. Contact R365 Support to enable or disable this setting.
