The Daily Retention Extract is a file export that displays employee punch data for the selected day(s) for daily pay purposes.
Navigation
The My Reports search bar can be used to search R365's entire catalog of reports.
- Open the Reports app.
- Navigate to My Reports.
- Enter all or part of the report name in the search bar.
- The Results tab will open with the list of search results.
- From beneath the report name, click Run to run the report with the selected report view.

Click Customize to adjust the report parameters and run the report.
Report Parameters
Field | Description |

Filter By | A list of all filter categories. Filter categories will vary based on the report. |
Filter | A list of filter options determined by the 'Filter By' category selected. |
Start | First date for which to pull data for the report. The 'Start' and 'End' parameters create the date range for the data generated. The report then displays data for all dates within the date range, including the start and end dates. |
End | Last date for which to pull data for the report. The 'Start' and 'End' parameters create the date range for the data generated. The report then displays data for all dates within the date range, including the start and end dates. |
Job Type | Filters the report to include only the jobs assigned to the selected job types. The default is All. |
Job | Filters the report to include only the employees assigned to the selected jobs. Options selectable here are based on the Job Type selected in the parameter above. |
Hash Employee ID | Indicates whether or not the employee ID will be hashed (obscured to be unidentifiable). When set to Yes, the Employee IDs will be hashed. When set to No, the Employee IDs will appear on the export. |
Report Columns
Field | Description |

STORE_ID | Location number. |
BUSINESS_DAY | Date of the business day the punch occurred (aligned with daily sales summary (DSS) date). |
EMPLOYEE_ID | Employee payroll ID. |
EMPLOYEE_ROLE | Job name that the employee clocked in under for the given shift. |
HIRE_DATE | Date the employee was hired. |
TERMINATION_DATE | Date of employee termination.
