If a pay rate changed but the job title stayed the same, a labor report may be needed to confirm the specific amount changed. ## **Symptoms** - A user cannot find when an employee last received a wage increase - A user is looking for historical job title or pay rate changes on an employee record - A user cannot see past compensation changes in the employee profile ## **Steps to Resolve** ### Option A — View Job History on the Employee Record 1. Open the **Workforce** app. 2. Under **Employees**, click **Employees**. 3. Click the employee's row to open the employee record. 4. Click the **Employment** tab. 5. Within the **Jobs** section, click the clock-shaped button next to the **+Add Job** button. 6. Review the list of job history entries. Each row shows the effective date, job title, location, and pay rate for that period. Job History captures changes to job title and pay rate whenever a new job record is saved. If the employee's title remained the same across pay rate changes, those changes may not appear as separate rows in Job History. ### Option B — Confirm Pay Rate Changes via a Labor Report If the employee held the same job title throughout and the Job History tab does not reflect distinct rate changes, run a payroll report to compare earnings across pay periods. 1. Open the **Reports** app. 2. Click **My Reports**. 3. In the search bar, type the report name, such as **Labor Hour and Rate Analysis**, to locate it. 4. Click **Customize** to reveal the report parameter fields. 5. Set the date range to cover the time period in question and change any default selections if needed. 6. Click **Run**. 7. Select the **+** icon next to the employee’s name to reveal all worked shifts along with their rates. 8. Review the employee's earnings rows to compare pay rates across the period.
