# Verify Item Setup

The Verify Item Setup button, located on the [Items page](/doc/docs/items-grid), allows users to ensure their item setup is correctly configured. The tool refreshes all [Purchased Item Records](/doc/docs/purchased-item-record-overview-security), applies any changes to [Units of Measure](/doc/docs/unit-of-measure), and recalculates costs.
