# Update Recipe Costs

Use the **Update Recipe Costs** button to ensure that recipe costs are correct configured. This button is located on the [Recipes (classic) page](/doc/docs/recipes-classic). The tool refreshes all [recipe item records](/doc/docs/recipe-item-record), applies any changes to [units of measure](/doc/docs/unit-of-measure), and recalculates costs.

1. Open the **Inventory** app.
2. Expand **Recipes**.
3. Select **Recipes**.

****Search****

Navigate to pages with the [R365 global search bar](/doc/docs/r365-search):

1. Enter all or part of the **page name** in the R365 global search bar.
2. Select the page from the results list.

> Only enabled pages can be searched for. If the desired page is not enabled, contact your CSM for assistance.

To update recipe costs, click the **Update Recipe Costs** button.
