Because computer technologies rapidly change, we cannot guarantee that ExpandShare will function flawlessly on all systems. Newer technologies will offer better experiences, so stay current with the latest versions, as older systems will eventually be unsupported.

Mobile Operating Systems

If you are using ExpandShare on a mobile device, download the latest ExpandShare app and keep up-to-date with new versions of your mobile operating system.

Computer Operating Systems

ExpandShare typically supports operating systems that are still supported by their own developer. Here are some older systems no longer supported:

Windows 7, 8, 8.1 & 9: Microsoft support has ended, and using IE 11 with any of them is not supported. If you use these out of date platforms, use Chrome or Firefox.

Web Browsers

ExpandShare works in the latest versions of most major browsers. These include:

• Chrome - The two latest released stable versions

• Edge - The two latest released stable versions

• Firefox - The two latest released stable versions (Extended Releases not supported)

• Safari - The two latest released stable versions

• Internet Explorer - 11*

Internet Connection Speed

The minimum viable connection speed to stream video from the cloud using Expandshare reliably is about 768 kilobits per second.

We recommend a connection speed of at least 5 megabits per second for an optimal experience with HD capacity.

* Microsoft ended support for IE 10 and older on 1/12/16. Internet Explorer Compatibility Mode is not supported in ExpandShare. To turn off Compatibility View, click on the gear in the top right corner and click Compatibility View Settings.
