# Duplicating Dashboards in AI Dashboards

This article is part of [R365 AI Dashboards](/doc/docs/r365-intelligence-overview-security) and covers duplicating dashboards.

Dashboards can be duplicated from the dashboard library page. This will create an exact copy of the existing dashboard.

> The system's original pre-built [R365 Dashboard Masters](/doc/docs/r365-intelligence-r365-dashboard-masters) ***cannot*** be edited. To make any changes to these dashboards, first **Duplicate** the original, then proceed to edit the copy.

## Duplicate One Dashboard

Duplicate a single dashboard using the [Dashboard action menu](/doc/docs/r365-intelligence-dashboard-action-menu). To duplicate a single dashboard:

1. Open the dashboard action menu, by clicking the menu button ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/5c9d1111-0c69-4e96-8910-d7f2750fdc9d/Images/Documentation/1a4d7b7b-6e74-458c-b028-d3a5cffff1a9.png)from the row of the dashboard that is going to be duplicated.
2. From the dropdown, click **Duplicate**.
3. The selected dashboard will now be listed in the Dashboard Library as **[DASHBOARD NAME] Copy.** It can be renamed in [Dashboard Edit Mode](/doc/docs/r365-intelligence-editing-dashboards).

## Duplicate Dashboards in Bulk

More than one dashboard can be duplicated at a time. To do this:

1. Select the dashboards from the list by **clicking the checkbox in the first table column** beside the dashboards that need to be duplicated.
2. From the bulk action bar, **click the duplicate button** ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/5c9d1111-0c69-4e96-8910-d7f2750fdc9d/Images/Documentation/412ad662-5748-410b-9228-429904768c49.png) to duplicate all the selected dashboards.
3. The selected dashboards will now be listed in the dashboard library as **[DASHBOARD NAME] Copy**.These can be renamed in [Dashboard Edit Mode](/doc/docs/r365-intelligence-editing-dashboards).

## Troubleshooting

****Duplication Errors in Dashboards****

**Error**: When attempting to duplicate a dashboard, users may encounter an error if the dashboard contains **metrics or attributes that fall outside their permissions.**

If duplication fails, the following error message will appear:

*Duplication Error: Some data points in this dashboard are restricted based on your permissions, preventing duplication.*

**Resolution**: Verify permissions - Check with the organization’s administrator to confirm the appropriate permissions for the metrics and attributes in the dashboard.
