Users can also Create and Edit Item Transfers via the [R365 Red App](/doc/docs/r365-mobile-app). Once a Transfer form is sent to its Receiving Location, the status of the Transfer will be updated on the 'Transfers' tab. Open the **Inventory and Sales** application. 2. Expand **Inventory**. 3. Enter all or part of the **page name** in the R365 global search bar. 2. Select the page from the results list. > Only enabled pages can be searched for. Then, follow these steps: 1. Click **Create**. 2. From the dropdown, select **Transfer**. A new, blank transfer form will open. 3. Select a **From Location**, this is the location that will be transferring the item. 4. Select a **Template** for use. -OR- Select a **To Location**. 5. **Add items** that will be transferred. Include their quantity. > If a template was used, there may already be items added to the form. 6. Each option corresponds with the **Add** button listed above the Items listing. > [!TIP] > When adding an item, ensure the correct inventory UofM is selected for the **Unit of Measure** field. ### Add Items Individually Once a sending location is selected, the **+ Add Item** button becomes enabled. ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/5c9d1111-0c69-4e96-8910-d7f2750fdc9d/Images/Documentation/f51dd588-4c75-4316-bbe8-c69c6bb6e34f.gif) To add items to the transfer, follow these steps: 1. Navigate to the **Items** grid. 2. Click the **Add Item** button. A line will appear where details can be entered about an item. 3. Enter in the **name** of the item in the item selector field. 4. **Select the desired item** from the drop-down list. 5. Once an item is added, details about the item will auto-populate the boxes in the line. The majority of these fields can be updated if needed. 6. Enter in the **quantity** of the item and then add more items if needed. Add items by either: - Clicking the **Add Item** button - Hitting **Enter** on their keyboard Fields can be navigated using the **Tab** key. Quantities can also be entered and confirmed with **Enter** to move down the **Quantity** column or other columns. ### Add Items in Bulk Items can be added in bulk by item category by clicking the **+ Bulk Add** button above the **Items** grid. In the window that appears, select the desired item category options and click **Add # Items**. All selected items are then added to the **Items** grid. ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/5c9d1111-0c69-4e96-8910-d7f2750fdc9d/Images/Documentation/image-ZAT7I0FG.png) --- ## Enter Quantities and Send Form After all items are added, enter quantities if they were not already entered and then save and send the form to the receiving location, unless otherwise specified by the organization. Review the [Transfer Status and Workflow](/doc/docs/item-transfers-transfer-status-and-workflow) to ensure the item transfer is properly documented in R365. > Users with the following permission can edit **Each Amt** values: > > - Food → Item Transfers → Edit Item Transfer Detail Amounts --- ## Delete a Transfer Form Item transfers can be deleted at any time until the transfer is approved. Any user from the sending location can delete a transfer when the status is **In Progress** or **Rejected**. When the status is **Pending** or **Completed**, only users with the following permission and access to both the sending and receiving locations can delete it: - Food → Item Transfers → Delete Item Transfer To delete a transfer, open the form and click the context menu in the top-right corner of the modal. Select **Delete**, then confirm the deletion in the confirmation modal.
